It seems that everyone I talk to is blaming carbs for their weight gain, and always talking about how important protein is. I know that protein has it’s place, just like fat, but I find it hard to believe that we really need as much protein as every seems to be shouting these days.
Adam and I have been our own “experiments” for the past 9 months or so. We have drastically cut back on “protein” from animals products, and don’t go overboard trying to get it from other places. And... We feel great!
I believe we need to eat healthy carbs for weight loss... Not just more protein!
We eat lots of good carbs like rice, potatoes, beans, quinoa, white rice, and sweet potatoes. And we really eat as much as we want! We love our carbs. So, I thought it would only be fair to give them a “shout out” amidst all the yells and voices for protein.
